LUCSAT - Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test

Lucknow University conducts LUCSAT(Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test) for admissions to its two year MCA programme. The exam is conducted in the month of June and the application process commences in May. The exam dates for LUCSAT 2019 is yet to be declared.

The MCA programme offered by the University lays emphasis on application development by incorporating soft development skills. The major thrust is endowing students a sound background in computing, business function, mathematics related to information technology.

To be eligible for the programme, aspirants need to fulfill the eligibility requirements given below:

• Aspirants must hold BSc (Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology) or BCA /BE / BTech (CSE/IT) degree of minimum three year duration.
• They should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks for Gen/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST and Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer application as one of the subject at Intermediate / Higher Secondary (i.e. 10+2) level.
• Students of BCA final semester of Lucknow University or affiliated college of Lucknow University can apply if candidate passed (without any back paper) in all semester and having 50% marks (aggregate) up-to 5th semester for GEN/OBC and 45% marks SC/ST respectively.
• Similarly, students of BSc (Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology) final year, Lucknow University or affiliated college of Lucknow University can apply if candidate passed (without any back paper) in 1st year and 2nd year having 50% marks (aggregate) in both years for GEN/OBC and 45% marks SC/ST respectively.

LUCSAT will be conducted in the Department of Computer Science, University of Lucknow, Lucknow.
